WHAT IS A COMPREHENSIVE COMMUNITY PLAN?
A Comprehensive Community Plan or CCP is an inclusive and holistic member-engagement process. It is a living document created by the voices of all ʔAkisq ̓ nuknik.
The CCP is a forward-looking and long-term plan, spanning two to three generations (15 to 25 years).
The plan considers every aspect of the community, including language, culture, health, lands, housing, governance and infrastructure.
The journey allows ʔAkisq ̓ nuknik to envision a better future and creates a roadmap to get there.
Why it Matters
The plan will reflect where ʔAkisq ̓ nuk have been, where we are now, and where we want to go in the future, helping guide our path toward self-governance through a shared community vision
