ʔAKISQ̓NUK TODAY: What we're working On

  ʔakisq̓nuk is currently working on many diverse projects and initiatives.  

• Economic Development - ʔakisqnuk business such as Lakeshore Resort and Campground, Columbia Lake Recreation Center, Eva Joseph Learning and Cultural Society, Commercial Lot Development, as well as partnering with other Ktunaxa Nation Economic Development offices in Ktunaxa Enterprises, and promoting entrepreneurs. 
• Member Services Department - housing programming, supports and development. 
• Education - pre-kindergarten through high school and into post secondary, as well as non-traditional educational programs and workshops. 
• Recreation - oversees the Recreation Centre that was constructed in 2019.
• Health Services - administers programming and wellness.
• Lands & Resources  - includes advocating for stewardship of the traditional territory.
•  Infrastructure - maintaining and developing our current buildings and assets.
